Rant 00002 and other sundries

I caught part of the “health care summit” on a break at work. Talk about a joke! Does the cinc/totus have any f***ing clue about what is the feeling out here in the real world. The space inside the beltway is it’s own little world, after all.It resembles Helion Prime from the “Chronicles of Riddick” more than the country it is the “center” of. Even with raw data staring them in the face, the three stooges, obama, reid and the wicked witch of the west still want to socialize one-sixth of the US economy. And help a large number of the citizenry to the grave, since they would cost to much. Rat Bastards anyway!

Sorry for the slacking off. I has been one of them weeks with broke airplanes and lots of flights. As the new guy and grade ten I am the designated first up on the list to prep, launch and recover. Then is the preflight/basic post flight, fuel and secure the aircraft for the day. Keeps one busy. Several mornings a week I start with the lights on out on the line. It is has an overhead shade and lighting!

At least it is the weekend! But so much for hitting the weeds with roundup. It is raining. Yes it does rain in the High Desert. There is still snow on the tops of the San Gabriel Mountains between us and the LA Basin/San Fernando Valley Metro Mess.

This is in the engine bay of an F-16 Falcon. We had just finished removing the engine for maintenance at the engine shop. Normal, mundane routine stuff. Inspection will be tomorrow prior to getting a new/overhauled engine for installation. Keeping them flying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Friday! And a three day weekend?

Yay! I made it through this one.

It was a busy week and filled with COLD mornings on the flight line.

And then the news of the earthquake in Haiti. Sad indeed. But my young brethren in Second Fleet are coming to the rescue. Not withstanding the idiot danny glover’s take on the situation. Must be pals with all the trash at MSNBC and CNN!

And now the dregs of society, you know, harry, nancy, max, chuckie, babs, dianne and those other two bitches from Washington have cuddled up with the skanks known as unions on the healthcare corruption in process in both houses. With a bit of good luck, the seat in the senate formerly held by drunken, teddy “the swimmer” kennedy will be occupied by a real, upstanding individual and the aforementioned scum of the earth will get their collective comeuppance.

Even the occasional tantrum throwing resident crybaby at Fox News, Juan Williams has had it with this bunch. Says something, doesn’t it. At least the Cambridge PD union came out in support of Mr. Brown in this upcoming election. Good on them. Some Californistan PDs could take a few pointers.

Not an overly interesting week here in Cal City and at Edwards. We went to Tehachapi for the Missus’ feet but that was done with by 11 AM. It was my RDO, so every other Thursday is a day off. It is a civil service schedule thing.

I did watch the Ducks-Blues and parts of Redwings at the Kings last night. But I also had to hit The First 48 on A&E.  Plus early to bed to get up early for work this AM. This is being typed as my coffee maker finishes up. Fill thermos and take off for work.

And I did not watch the mythical football championship last night. Waste of time.
