Sorry for the slacking off. I has been one of them weeks with broke airplanes and lots of flights. As the new guy and grade ten I am the designated first up on the list to prep, launch and recover. Then is the preflight/basic post flight, fuel and secure the aircraft for the day. Keeps one busy. Several mornings a week I start with the lights on out on the line. It is has an overhead shade and lighting!

At least it is the weekend! But so much for hitting the weeds with roundup. It is raining. Yes it does rain in the High Desert. There is still snow on the tops of the San Gabriel Mountains between us and the LA Basin/San Fernando Valley Metro Mess.

The latest to set me off is the part where we will be required to purchase health insurance. Since when does anyone have this authority. And I know damn good and well there is nothing in The Constitution that allows for this. I spent a large part of my life with a pocket sized one on my person. I also did on five separate occasions raise my right hand and swear to “support and defend the Constitution of The United States, against all enemies, foreign and domestic and to bear true faith and allegiance to the same.”

It would appear that the current cinc and his gang of thieves are derelict in that they too, have a similar line in their oath of office, and are blatantly ignoring it. It would be realistic of me to state that the cinc and his cronies, enablers and the majority of the congress are domestic enemies of The Constitution of The United States.

And yes, I have done more for the Republic in a single day than the cinc, speaker and majority leader have done in their collective lives. It is a matter of public record. Starting with……….I showed up every single day required unless on authorized leave or transit.

Condors Maybe?

I had to go to the Doctor in Tehachapi for a check up and meet & greet with the clinic we picked. I took the trusty old Z612 from Kodak.

The birds in the last one are two of about 40 or so that were circling over our part of town. I want to say they are condors of some kind. I have no idea but they looked neat.

This is in the engine bay of an F-16 Falcon. We had just finished removing the engine for maintenance at the engine shop. Normal, mundane routine stuff. Inspection will be tomorrow prior to getting a new/overhauled engine for installation. Keeping them flying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
